NextNest Residences ("NextNest", "we", "us", "our") is a short-term rental co-hosting service operating in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We use first-party and third-party cookies for analytics, advertising, and form functionality. The main third-party cookies we set are from Google (Analytics, Tag Manager) and Meta (Pixel).

You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics or advertising cookies will not break the site, but blocking essential cookies may prevent the assessment and onboarding forms from saving your progress correctly.

We keep assessment data for as long as you remain a prospective or active host, plus seven years thereafter for tax and regulatory purposes. If you ask us to delete your data and you are not an active host, we will delete it within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Data security

We protect your information using industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access-controlled databases, and least-privilege access for our team. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever experience a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as required by law.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

Some of our service providers (Notion, Netlify, Google, Meta) operate servers outside Canada, primarily in the United States. By using our services, you consent to your information being processed in those jurisdictions, subject to the protections in this policy.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via email to active hosts and prospective hosts in our pipeline.
